Doom Flat is a collection of carpets designed by Stefania Ruggiero made with the kilim technique. Kilim carpets are hand-woven and flat weave, this technique is precious as the hand-knotted and affordable as the hand-tufted. These carpets have no crazy shapes, but mystic symbols magically decorate them through a trembling outline. With this project, the artist worked on the decoration elements and the structure of classical carpets, revising them into abstract shapes and arranged without hierarchy.
